Looking to create a patron for a hexblade warlock. TL;DR on the character backstory is that she died at the hands of Drow in the Underdark and made her deal with her patron on the other side. The patron resurrected her (with some caveats of course, like the scar from her beheading and her broken teeth will never heal properly) but otherwise, she's a run-of-the-mill hexblade.
With regards to her patron, I was thinking maybe something along the lines of a mash-up between content from Fred Saberhagens the Book of Swords, Soul Reaver from the Legacy of Kain video game, and some random lore from D&D but I'm having a hard time coming up with the meat-and-potatoes of the patron. I was also thinking maybe the Silver Sword of Gith or some other powerful artifact sword (let's be honest...the whole Blackrazor thing is overdone).
Any creative ideas for hexblade patrons out there besides my mad ramblings?

Not sure how creative the following ideas might be, but here are a couple variations and/or reskinnings of the Hexblade warlock that I’ve had in some of the campaigns for which I’ve been the DM:
Fey Knight: Character that served a fey noble patron as their knight errant and enforcer. Very similar in concept as the standard Fey patron subclass, but the character wanted a much more militaristic approach. Focused on getting a magical sword from their Fey lord versus a “hexblade” weapon, but they otherwise kept all of the Hexblade warlock abilities.
Blood Warrior: Similar to the above knight, but this character was serving a Fiend patron. The fiend gifted them an infernal sword and sent them forth to fight and do their bidding, which mostly consisted of slaying things that stood in its path. Technically, they served a fiendish patron but they used the Hexblade warlock abilities to empower their “blood war” champion.
Again, not overly creative per se, but I wanted to give a couple examples of hexblade patrons that didn't require the warlock to have an actual hexblade weapon. Still kept the mechanics and basic feel, but the reskinning to a fey or fiend patron changed how those abilities were viewed.
Make it a powerful Ancient Deep Dragon that has animosity towards the drow and have the connection to the player be a Dragon's Wrath Weapon that the character stole from the dragon's hoard while exploring the Underdark before they were captured by the drow. The dragon has decided to use the character as a tool of vengeance against the drow as well as other dragon-ish needs as a sort of "payment" for the character having stolen from them.
You could use an Elven Moonblade, its a setient artifact level magic item, you could have a Moonblade wanting your character to find it and use it against the Drow and maybe its in league with Kiriansalee the Drow Goddess of Vengeance and Undeath.

Thumbs up for the Soul Reaver reference!
