We have one person on this sub-forum who shares his sessions, however it's in relation to enhancing his abilities as a DM. He'll propose questions and issues that came up during a session, so it's not a play-by-play, it's more of a "and today's session had this issue, how would you?"
As vedexent put it, significant others can make life interesting as being a player or DM. My wife is both a player and a DM(funny enough a shadow monk/warlock cross class). My biggest piece of advice is to make sure you don't bring non-game issues in game, it can really make things weird if/when you get other players.
In the mean time: have fun, good luck, many wonderful adventures!
Oh, we have played together in the past. There's no issue there. And my intention was to pose questions, share lessons, and seek help when running/building things... so this does seem the right place. Thanks both, looking forward to getting started.

I'm about to start DMing a solo game for my wife. Is this an appropriate place to share my experiences?
Congratulations - and best of luck. Spousal players can be ... interesting ;) My wife is a Way of Shadow Monk in my current campaign.
As for appropriate - it depends what you mean by "sharing [your] experiences".
This sub-forum seems to be mostly DM shop talk. If you mean posting session logs - I'm not sure.
There really should almost be a sub-forum for session summaries and logs - if any Mods are listening :)

Do it. I’d read it
Would it go in the Story and Lore board? Nothing wrong with wanting to share. D&D stories/campaign diaries are good fun.
