So in an evil home brew ebberon / ravnica setting I've been running since June we had one of those comedy gold moments you'll only fine in D&D. I'll give you the shortest version I can:
Party has been lost in a wasteland of eternal battle between hell and humans with horizon zero dawn constructs for days.
The Rogue in the group is a female who looks similar to her mother. The mother is one of the big villains and she's a horrible person.
They have been fleeing further in to the center of this desert because they can see an army of devils gathering behind them and they seem to be giving chase far off but gaining.
They dead end up against a shear cliff wall they want to ascend but the horde catches up to them before they can
The leading element is 4 bone devils lead by a cyborg looking medusa who asks to speak with the rogue and calls her by her mothers name
The rogue catches on and starts acting like her horrible mother and claims she (as a drow) is here with her elite squad (her party) to assault the human stronghold and the army should disperse or it'll give them away.
Roll Deception: Nat 20.
The army totally buys that the rogue is her mother for the purposes of this conversation and bow before her.
Before they leave the bone devils snarl disgruntled. The medusa explains that they are her elite who have battled for the mother the rogue is impersonating for hundreds of years and they too feel they should have the war paint that the party's barbarian had on his face. They beseech her to give them this mark of honor too.
TL;DR The rogue paints the mark on each of the devils faces and the medusa while they kneel before her:
WHY IS THIS HILARIOUS YOU ASK? Let's back up one night before:
The party camped out in an old ruined war machine and took watches with the barbarian going first.
He tried to prank the rogue so she would be embarrassed before waking her for her watch.
The rogue takes her watch next and in vengeance she takes her disguise kit and uses it to draw a massive dick on the face of the barbarian while he sleeps and crushes the roll so it's the Picasso of face ***** drawings. She describes it as balls around the eyes and wang down the center of the face.
In the morning the barbarian is too stupid to get why everyone is cracking jokes like "This is a hairy situation..." and "You seem a bit stiff this morning, are you ok?"
Fast forward to the next day during the encounter:
Yes. She drew ***** on the faces of a kneeling horde of devils for their war paint.

Thanks Nat 20. We never laughed so hard.
And this, this is why I love D&D! You can't get moments like that from a video game. Equal parts ridiculous and bad-ass for your Rogue, I'm sure.
Agreed.
