I was wondering if y'all had any suggestions for campaigns for new players. I had a simple faux encounter with my family as a way of introduction to the rules and building characters and they loved it but I'm now looking for a good campaign to start them on. I would just start them with the starter set campaign but my sister (the only one who has played before) played the mine of phandelver one so I'm not sure what to do. Any suggestions?
From what you can tell, does your family more prefer the social RP aspect of problem solving, the combat aspect, or something else entirely? I ask b/c different campaign books emphasize different things.
Well since they're brand new I don't think they quite know what they prefer yet so I'd say a good mix is preferable but i know that's easier said than done im thinking about going with TFYP or something similar with a group of smaller stories and then going from there
Howdy everyone,

Thanks in advance,

Any of the published adventures that start at 1st level will work and will be fun. Which one appeals to your taste the most?

Ok cool and I'm not sure do you happen to know of a list of the adventures that start at level one?
No, I don’t, but I know that Ghosts of Saltmarsh does. Read the blurbs, I pretty sure that over half of them start at 1st level.

sweet I'll be sure to check it out thanks a lot.
Tales From the Yawning Portal is also a good buy.

The new Essentials set adventure, Dragon of Icespire Keep is specifically designed for new players, as is Lost Mines of Phandelver.
They're both very good and provide a lot of good information on the town, the area and running quests.
