Hi, I'm playing dnd for like 4 month now. I DMed 4-5 homebrew one-shots and now i wanna DM official campaign. Which pre-made campaign is more open for a new DM(pls not the adventures from the starter set or Tales from the Yawing portal)? I ok with preparing for campaign, but not too much.
Personally, I'd go with Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus if you want a full campaign. There's plenty to start with and with the early game you can even run some little homebrew additions into the campaign to make it truly suitable for your group. There's plenty of maps, and images to help you visualise what you're describing, and it's a fairly straightforward adventure to my mind.
I have an empty campaign and always making made-up stories. Try that! It's not exactly official, but I play it every time that I can With the Yedzi boys. (Yedwab proposed to Lenzi yesterday)
