I'm looking to incorporate some vestiges of divergence into my Forgotten Realms campaign (making them vestiges of the Tearfall from years and years ago in Faerunian history) and trying to decide where to put the androsphinx's lair. In CR, the party had to go to the Frostweald to find the entrance to the sphinx's lair. Then they had to solve a massive puzzle dungeon to get the sphinx to share the information he had.
I bought Rime of the Frostmaiden so I'm considering sticking the entrance up in either Icewind Dale or maybe in the Ten-Towns region since I have the maps for those areas now.
But I wanted to gather opinions on where else one might put the entrance in Faerun if they were to go down this path.

Mulhorand is the obvious choice.
Personally, in my campaign, I’d place it in the Marching Mountains but I’m partial to the lands of intrigue.
