Hey everyone. First time poster here just coming back to the fray of DMing. Bought 5e with it came out and am finally now having time to start a campaign up.
I've always wanted to run a campaign based around the Teeth of Dahlver-Nar. In fact I started one way back in Second edition after reading their description in the DMs Guide if memory serves.
Have these been updated or written about in any of the 5e material as of yet? I currently only have the Core Books and I know I haven't seen them in there. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
I did a google search and found rules for 3.5, which I think make it nearly impossible for you to ever have them all in place at once due to the whole vestiges. In the 2nd edition there were penalties with the teeth but you could have the whole set in your head at once without making the player unplayable.
They are artifacts, not unlike the Rod of Seven Parts.
There are 32 teeth. Each tooth gives its owner a power. To use the teeth you must remove one of your teeth and then the tooth magically resized and grafts into your mouth. After a "Day" I believe you can start using the power that the tooth grants.
Im not at home right now so I cannot look up either of the official rules for the teeth at the moment. I just know that there is a lot of extra source material out there that I haven't been able to purchase as of yet. Figured it might be in one of those.
Yeah looks like your return has been nothing short of serendipitous for you. They were just published in Tashas Cauldron of Everything not but a week ago.

All I know is that it's not in anything official.

Thanks for letting me know.
Is there a good forum on here for hashing out campaign concepts or original settings? I'm new and don't want to be posting in the wrong places. LOL
