So the bard in my party wants to take a level into Warlock. They know they want to do Pact of the Fiend, but I don't know which Demon/Devil their patron should be. Any idea as to which one to choose for them?
When I had a player want to be a fiend-pact warlock, I just browsed the higher CR fiends until I found something I liked and built their Patron from there as a "more powerful" version of that fiend. For this character, I actually ended up looking back through older editions that had more variety and then just converted what I liked into 5th ed.
I really liked the look of the Leukodaemon. I named him Thakanoch.

I think you should go for a fiend that thematically fits with your setting and has some sort of reason to make a deal with your bard. Once you figure out some basic questions like that you can look through MToFs like Lyxen said or peruse the Forgotten Realms wiki.
Think about these things first: Why does your bard want to make a deal? Why would the fiend want to? Is this going to be affecting your game in any way? (other than some narrative fluff to justify the mechanics) Does the deal conflict with any other PCs in the party? etc...

Sounds like another Bard needs to make a pact with Sweet the Jazz Demon from the Buffy the Vmapire Slayer episode "Once More With Feeling"
