Would you say that she looks like a member of her species, going by the art? Like would people be able to recognise her species just by looking at her?
Although she originally came from Ravnica, she was banished from her home as a small child by a Planeswalker, who literally banished her to another plane of existence, and she ended up in the Domain of Dread, Barovia.
I was kind of hoping that people would mistake her for some kind of Tiefling.

Not many races with skin tones like that. I was 70/30 vedalken/duergar though. My screen/eye wasn't sure if it was a purplish blue, or a blueish purple.. is there a difference? Plus it was obvious you were going obscure. Doubt many people on this site know vedalken exist and genasi art normally incorporates an elemental effect.

Hi there,
Here is some cool art of my backup character for the Curse of Strahd game that I am playing in.
Yaraghiya Sotro
Can you guess what her race is?
I am looking forward to seeing all your guesses.

Air Genasi?
Ah, no, not Air Genasi. Though she maybe does look a bit like it from the art.
