I'm looking for some advice for when I am creating maps for my party. The first thing that I have been looking for is a large spool of 1 inch by 1 inch graph paper which I can cut into to create several maps. I've tried to use the laminated sheets which you can buy but I find them slightly too unwieldy. Something more disposable would be optimal. Secondly, If anyone know where I can find decent supply of illustrated pogs to represent various creatures, kind of like the ones you could get in the old Red Box if anyone remembers those, I would love to hear about it. Thanks!
One of the board games or soemthing came with a ton of them as I have them sitting around since I have a good selection of mini's to use instead.
I'm not sure it counts as a cheap option, but you can buy large pads of easel paper with 1inch squares.
Battlemats work well if you can keep your party away from anything other than wet erase markers. You can buy several and have things premade on them before the game session.

You gotta get one of these bad boys and make your own! Blast from the past, anyone?

Making your own tokens is pretty easy.
1. Download TokenTool
2. Watch this video to see how to use the software.
3. Print them off
4. Buy one of these at the size you are going to be printing off your tokens. This lets you cut them out as perfect circles.
5. Purchase a heap of washers at the same size.
6. Glue the cut out tokens to the washers.
7. Enjoy your gaming experience.
