So, I've got a players handbook, but I keep scratching the glossy cover. Does anybody have any ideas on how to make a fabric cover? Something dark and mysterical is what I'm aiming for (I usually play as a Warlock or a rogue).
Have you ever made a paper book cover for a text book? Am I now so far into the future where paper bag book covers are completely unknown? I probably am! This is not a jab at you, more so at myself for not realizing maybe most people never made these things. Here's a tutorial for one.
The principal is similar for a fabric one...except sewing or gluing. Leather seems rather expensive, so I personally wouldn't go that route. Here's a YouTube video for a fabric one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WguRkrc-l1Q
Basically you need to measure and get some awesome fabric then make your book cover dreams come true!
I remember making paper book covers for my text books in school, It was a requirement. I took it one step further and covered the paper with duct tape for more armor, worked very well.
Ha, ha... you remember paper bags! I remember when that was the only choice. "Paper or plastic" was just paper.
I might try some really cool gift paper or brown shipping paper and make my own like i did back in the day. Nowadays there's some cool looking duct tape.
