I'd pay up to $15-20 for a custom D20 methinks. That's about what a gemstone dice d20 alone costs ($16-$20 depending on the stone). Personally I love dice that look like little galaxies, and in shades of blue. I haven't seen any mint-colored dice that I like yet but I've been looking. For a full set, not that I could afford it, $30-$80 seems reasonable depending upon the level of customization. If it's just a solid custom 1-2 color resign set from a mold, $20-30 sounds reasonable. But I'd also have to see some examples of what you're capable of making, they could be worth a bit more depending upon the size and quality (for example, chonky oversized dice would be awesome and worth a little more, as would cute mini dice).
I have a ton of acrylic sets, but after being given metal dice for my birthday last year, it's hard to go back to anything that doesn't have some heft. One exception I'd make is for a set of custom wooden dice. I know the cheapest ones run at least $50 for a full polyhedral set, and some can get up to $200, but given the craftsmanship needed and the material costs, I wouldn't mind shelling out up to $75 for a quality set.
My second exception would be mini dice. I've seen some that come on a keychain in a wooden case and that appeals to me greatly. I just like the idea of always having a set of dice on me and being able to rep my nerdiness whenever I leave the house, lol.
I really prefer dice that are easy to read quickly. It used to be that colour and feel and everything else were what I selected my dice for. Today I just want something I can read without any squinting or anything else. So, high contrast is great and opaque is also generally preferable.
I roll raw on my old coffee table. What I've really been wanting to do is get or make a dice cup, after listening to a Sons of Kryos segment, and play with shaking dice up on it and then putting it face down on the table and leaving it there while stakes are discussed for important rolls.
The 'holy grail' of my dice set search would be a set of transparent, precision cut dice made from cellulose acetate (or maybe polymethyl methacrylate).
That material is very uniform in weight distribution, you can see bubbles (which there should be none in the first place), and cutting instead of injection molding produces the most fair dice.
I know this is probably going overboard, as regular dice are fair 'enough', especially when you use a dice tower and tray, but I enjoy the thought of being as close to fair statistical results as possible.
Alternately, precision milled aluminum dice are attractive, too, but I shy away from the price tag and looks.
Wondering what would everyone would want in a custom die? Any preferred materials, design, colours and how much would you pay for it?

Ignore me... I just found the "my dice page."
