My group hasn't met for several months because I (the DM) just started college, so with Thanksgiving break on its way, we have put together another session. I lost a few members of the group because they moved away for college, so we have invited a some new players. For both the old and new players, I want to make this spectacular with themed decor and snacks, but I can't think of any wacky drinks to go along with a circus theme (main conflict is with a dark carnival trope). All the members are under 21, no alcohol, but any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I hate to say it, but: Use (insert your preferred web search engine here) to find "Creepy Carnival treats" and you should find a ton of options. Personally, I like Ganache and sprinkle covered rat brownies with gum paste tails. These can be cut made to any size, and if made into a larger cake size works good as a Black forest cherry cake (the cherry topping adds a nice bloody looking mess).
What I always do is take nectar drinks, like peach, pear, or banana and then and in fruit punches or juices. It's a really refreshing drink and mixes well. Very delicious and affordable. Sometimes nectar can be a pain to find, but if you ask at your grocery store you should be able to find some. :) I made a strawberry fruit punch, banana(nectar), apple juice, and a little bit of Sprite last Thanksgiving and everyone loved it. So good!
"...Debts must always be paid, sometimes in more than blood and gold. But this is Ordo Ursa," Ren places his hand on Erakas's chest, right where the Dragonborn's heart is. "Right here. And it always has been and always will be. Don't ever forget that. Because I won't."
