Epics are kind of done across the country, after their given debuts at the big name cons (I believe the newest one, the Red War, happens at Origins?) And sometimes local places will put on previous epics for charity. TLDR talk to the store organizers and convention organizers in your area and see if any of them are putting it up.

Summer gets crazy, and I'd rather not miss another one.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think that is determined on a per store basis.
