I'm curious if anyone has used a (real) editor or editing service before? If so, can you provide me some recommendations (either through PM or here if allowed).
Also, what % share of profits should go to an editor or (I'm assuming) most would rather charge a flat fee for services.
I would recommend joining the DMsGuild Creator's Circle group on facebook. RP Davis is the admin; he has edited two adventures for me and is outstanding. You can also find great people on there to do layout, art, maps, etc if needed.
Most editors will want a flat fee, but some will work for a revenue share - they're more likely to do that if you're an established name, and it's usually 10%-20%. You need to work it out on a case-by-case basis. Some will do a combination of flat fee plus rev share.

I try to avoid using Facebook, so I didn't even think of searching there.
