I'm running Rime of the Frostmaiden, and due to a player background and my party's acquisition of a business - James Winifred Darkmagic III and Acquisitions Incorporated have been drawn into the game. I am not bothered but this, but i have never run Acq Inc on DDB (only for in person games) - what do you get when you purchase this from the marketplace?
Older posts from closer to the Acq Inc release suggested that a lot of the franchise role stuff was done manually... Does it make more sense just to create a few feats and a couple of items?
I dont mean to be a necromancer, but I don't see a way to Incorporate Acquisitions Incorporated into my game using DnD Beyond. I'm just complaining I suppose, that the site doesn't really support a lot of the functions of the book I purchased.

It integrates in the same way as any other material on dndbeyond.
I was a little confused by what you wrote. You stated you have run Acq-Inc in person just not on DDB; does that mean you already have the hardcopy/paper version of the book? Is so, whatever is in the hardcopy book will be in DDB as well and with content sharing, your PCs will have access to the new backgrounds, spells and Verdan race in creating PCs.
If you don't have the book in hardcopy, then there is the new Verdan race, some new spells, backgrounds, factions and vehicles; there is a full adventure campaign included which goes from level 1-7.
How do you add your new 'Corporate Position' in DnD Beyond? DM has purchased the book - added it to the 'shared' campaign, so we should all have access to the content - but don't see anywhere that I can add "Obviator' for example, to my character sheet with the abilities and details, etc. . . or Franchise info, location, level, etc. . .
I do not see a specific area either. As my players are just starting, no one has picked a company position yet. When the time comes I will likely have them added it to the Description area, probably under the "Notes: Organizations" section and then add any special equipment to the Inventory. All the main magical items that come with a position can be added to your Inventory and special skills or such would likely need to be manually entered. I think it is this way because the company positions are not really background but meant to be used in addition to your background.
