This is prolly answered somewhere in the DMG or PHB, but as a quick shoutout: if one of my PCs picks up, say, a +1 sling or crossbow, and shoots off normal ammunition at something, is that ammunition magical against the target for purposes of damage?
Typing out this question makes me all the more fond of the Magic Stone cantrip.
Quoting the DMG page 140, “If a magic weapon has the ammunition property, ammunition fired from it is considered magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to non-magical attacks and damage”
No problem! I finished running a session a lil while ago and wanted to check if anyone needed any help and since I had the DMG on hand, I just checked out magic items and looked for the weapons area. I also never turn down a chance to help other D&D players or dungeon masters

Thanks! I figured it was in there, but appreciate that you could pull up where specifically (atm I don't have mine handy).
