I've been running a Cleric only campaign "Storm King's Thunder - The Gods Respond" on D&D Beyond for almost three years now (go have a look if you're interested). When I set it up I thought there might be more proselytising from the players but it hasn't happened. A party of all clerics is fairly powerful but generally only one of them has ever gone into combat regularly.

Not sure what you mean by 'gone into combat.' You mean melee combat? Just surious.
And whenever people are talking about a powerful party the all-Cleric one usually comes up pretty high on the list. I mean Clerics have it all depending on the subclasses. The all-buffing party is baller any way you slice it. Even at lower levels, they're good but once the really powerful spells start coming in it's incredible. Almost as good as all-Wizards but they actually have armor and HP.
I have the popcorn ready in case someone comes by and wants to start a debate with you between Rangers and Bards. Just saying...
Hahahahaha! That is very fair.
I think bards are more versatile in terms of that they can do, and rangers are more versatile in terms of what they can be if that makes any sense? Just an opinion. I'm no expert or anything.
Either all Cleric or all Bards. Yeah, they're both versatile classes that can reasonable cover all the bases. Their subclasses llow them to diversify and all that. Fine great that's not why though.
... so we first meet up with all our characters at summer camp. But this year, things are about to get wild.

I'm probably laughing.
It is apparently so hard to program Aberrant Mind and Clockwork Soul spell-swapping into dndbeyond they had to remake the game without it rather than implement it.

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahaha! I LOVE THAT IDEA!
Look for Dan Marquette (I think that's the spelling). He's released a CD called 'This one time at band camp.' He's a performer at the local Renaissance Fair and a very good one.
