One of my PCs is looking for a particular artifact (Járngreipr, the gauntlets of Thor), and is in fact a cleric of Thor. I'm trying to design a side quest for him, with maybe a few encounters overall in it. The main quest is tracking down what has turned out to be a cult of Orcus in a small dwarven trading settlement. So what suggestions or ideas do you have for this sort of thing?
My go to when I'm looking for inspiration or things to add to a side quest is the Dungeon Masters Guild Theres a ton of cool stuff there. Try using orcus as a search word and maybe Thor as a search word there's bound to be something there.
