I have two PC's who at some point in the story both became Warlocks of Titania and Oberon so them and their friends could escape the Feywild. I've had one of them do a little quest from Oberon to start a party, but I don't have many ideas on what both the King and Queen of the Faeries would want with the two PC's. If anyone has any ideas for both short and long jobs both of them would have their respective Warlocks do I would appreciate some help.
They need to plant a 1000 specific plants no closer to each other than one mile away.
If they are traveling between two of the same places frequently, then charge them with moving the rocks of the lake coastline to the city to build a statue in their likeness.
Have them catch and move 250 chipmunks to another part of the forest.
Gather recipes from the world and in 10 years time throw a party with all of the new food, then their patron will appear and give them a boon.
I don’t have specific ideas, but just because they’re a king and queen doesn’t mean they have to work together. They might have opposing goals sometimes, which could create some interesting in-party issues.
Fey do all kinds of crazy things. On the DM's guild there is the domains of delight supplement to wild beyond the witch light by wizards that may help in designing fey personality and abilities. Fey often have strange rules like the law of reciprocity where you must always accept a gift and offer one in return you can make quests around fulfilling or holding people to those rules . Otherwise here are some ideas for oberon and titania:
Find a gift to give to give the other spouse ( i.e oberon asks for a gift to woo titania)
Assist or defend a member of the Seelie court
Thwart or attack a member of the unseelie court
Protect a fey forest
Kidnap some one the fey wants in their court like an artist or child. Perhaps replacing them with a changeling
Help two people fall in love like a midsummers night dream
Open or close a fey crossing
plant some flowers or trees
entertain the fey with a prank or performance
deliver a cursed item to prank a some one ( I can imagine an emperors new clothes deal would be funny)
Replant a dryad's grove/awakened tree/ apropriate plant or plant related fey somewhere else when they don't want to be moved.
Recover an item taken by a Quickling (whether it is ok to kill them or not is DM's choice). The fey keeps running away.
It is traditional for the rulers of the court to be recognised by a specific Hag Coven every equinox festival but the heard rumors that they are planning to crown someone else. Figure the truth and deal with the issue.
One of the rulers think that the other is cheating on them and wants their Warlock to uncover the truth.
One of the rulers is cheating on the other and wants their warlock to help cover up.
The rulers has been having nightmares recently. This has affected the realm and either twisted their inhabitants into monsters or opened a way into a plane of dread. This could be a plot from a big bad.
As a prank, they invited a mortal to a party that lasted a single night in the feywild but hundreds of years in the material plane. Said mortal has come for revenge and is hunting fey.
A damn cat has been screaming every night and does not let them sleep, they ask them to deal with that. It is actually a dragon that the ruler cursed as punishment that is getting petty revenge, it tries to convince the PC that it is someone else.
The rulers want to throw the party to end all parties. You must recruit the best musicians, hire the finest chefs, obtain the finest dresses and invite those who give the greatest bragging rights! Also, deliver a recording of it to the other court when they are done.
Titania is with child and has received threats to its wellbeing. Figure out who is responsible.
There is a feud between a group of pixies and one of sprites, who both claim ownership of the same tree. Their ruler can't be bothered to solve the dispute, they are feeling lazy.
One of the rulers became enamoured with a mortal, they want you to arrange a meeting discreetly. The mortal might either be savvy or naive, it would provide different challenges based on player morality.
Those unseelie bastards have stolen the sun! Go get it back, half the castle's unions refuse to work at night.
During a late night meeting, a hag borrowed the ruler's attention- Look, a squirrell! So pretty!
