Me and my Gaming group have a bit of a love hate history with 2nd edition D&D and are attempting to bring over some of the older modules/monsters. I am currently working on The Axe of the Dwarvish Lords and have finished off my interpretation of the Abomination of Diirinka. I have just made it Public in the home-brew collection and would love some feed back.
Also IF you guys have done any cross over from 2nd edition modules specialty monsters and such it owuld be awesome to see your works as well.

Hey man, I was curious so I searched the Homebrew Magic Items listing for your username and the results came up empty! Just a heads up, I know that after you submit them, they have to be reviewed by the Mods and then approved before they'll show up in the listings.
I reviewed your homebrew submission and, whilst I wouldn't normally give detailed feedback on the forums, there's a few things that there isn't room for in the normal feedback field from rejection.
Under special traits description, you have written, "see page 180 of the Campaign module for directions." - this is the primary reason for rejection, as all monsters need to be self-contained, or at most refer to standard rules that are freely available on D&D Beyond.
Additionally, whilst these aren't grounds for rejection, you could make the following improvements:
Hit points 380 (20d12 + 140). The average hitpoints from 20d12 + 140 is only 280. You should either remove 100 hitpoints or increase the hitdice calculation.
Speed "Has Earth glide similar to a Xorn's movement except can travel thru ( mud, sand, stone, metal)" - please don't reference other creatures in a way that means the viewer needs to go look at that monster as well. Just detail on this monster how the ability works in full.
Actions - you have [ roll ] tags within the text that don't do anything. It would be better if these were removed.
From a personal review point, it seems that this monster is designed to end campaigns, with such abilities as inflicting "3d6+3 permanent hit points" and "If target is reduced to zero hit points through this attack character is absorbed by the Abomination and can no longer be resurrected/reincarnated by any means short of a wish."
Thank you for the feed back it is very insightful and helpful. seeing as this was my first go at trying to bring an end campaign boss over from 2nd edition. I have made the suggested changes and corrections. hopefully it will meet the forums requirements now. Hopefully in the future i might get some special characters from other modules worked on and submitted as well.
Sorry about you not being able to find my creation I didn't realize at the time they had a review process before being made public. I had some corrections and modifications to make so hopefully it should be up at some time in the near future. I was working on one of the main bosses from the old 2nd edition campaign module.
Ah I miss understood, I thought you were adapting a weapon! Stormknight's comments about the creature make it sound pretty menacing! Looking forward to seeing it once it's published!
Wouldn't this sort of home-brew - copying a monster from a published source that isn't declared as open game content - be rejected from being made public on account of copyright?

Hi Cloten,
Axe of the Dwarvish Lords already exists in official 5e material - it's in the Dungeon Master's Guide.
Are you referring to the old TSR module/adventure of the same name?
