Hello! I'm a DM of a campaign that I call Kindle but it's my own adventure (I'm a big fan of creating my own adventures for my players to take) and while originally it was supposed to have a lot of players, only one was able to play, so are there any tips for being the DM of a single player?

The Nerd Queen! Minty (me) vs Yvonne (SpiderQueenYvonne)... how will we work this out? POSSIBLE Arachnid Queen Imma nerdy nonbinary YouTuber who lives on Earth, quick summary for ya. (No my channel is not under this username lol) I ADMIT IT: I am two hundred thirty-three years old. Me rn: darn it- can't think of how to design this stupid signature.
Weave in a lot of backstory to keep the character (and player) engaged. And make sure you don’t make the adventure too difficult, or condition important events on a class this character doesn’t have (like making being able to cast arcane spells vital to completing the adventure on the optimum path when the PC in question is not an arcane caster).
There was a thread about a week ago on this topic, linked here. It got a lot of pretty good feedback and should provide you a good starting point you can use.
