So I'm creating a one shot for this october, and I'm trying to set up what enemies and items would be good stand-ins for various scps. I can't homebrew anything, and I'm trying to make it so if someone catches on they get the joke, but its not blatantly scp themed. So the organization is not the "scp foundation", and instead of dealing with anomalous objects, they deal with magic monsters and items that are almost always deadly.
Also, all players will be using the commoner stat block, so as to add too that d-class vibe.
Well B218, most SCPs are nonsensical in how they fit into reality like (Idk the numbers) like a dryad made completely of water, or a blob that's always nice(Small Ochre Jelly), or that one SCP that's a lizard and just wants to kill could be a Giant Alligator with a regeneration ability that works after death. I think that including friendly SCPs would spice up your NPC one shot, and there are always people creating SCP homebrew stat blocks and Google, DND Beyond, etc. Hope it helps
