(this is the best place l could think of to post this, sorry if it's the wrong thread)
So, l was wondering what my options are for a Druid who wants to wear medium armor. I know there's Hide (Max AC of 14) and Dragon Scale Mail (Very rare, 17 AC Maximum) but what other options do l have? I'm thinking Chitin/Bone for Breast/Half Plate, or maybe magical Tree Bark. For the Tree Bark, l have a few ideas, but What kind of creatures have bones or Chitin suitable for armor crafting, and how would they even be turned into fitting armor?
Any advice or recommendations are welcome, though l prefer Official Dnd content. So no Homebrew items or Monsters please.
Edit: OK, thanks to the commenters (and a youtube video l saw) i've gotten it down to either the Barrier Tattoo, or Serpent Scale Mail.

Your options are:
Use Hide.
Talk the DM into letting you wear metal armor, it's not clear whether (druids will not wear armor or use shields made of metal) is actually a prohibition.
Use specific magic items that are non-metallic, such as dragon scale mail
Use a magic item with a feature that causes it to be non-metallic, such as Elemental Water or Strange Material. A classic is Ankheg armor.
Since there's no actual penalties for druids wearing metal armor in 5E, they can technically wear any standard armors.
If you're looking for materials to make non-metal armor out of, I recommend any sort of critter with a hard exoskeleton or natural armor. Ankheg shells could make breastplates, for example (with a nod to Baldur's Gate). Giant crabs, giant beetles, and umber hulks are all other possibilities.

"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
There could be medium armor or shields made of nonmetallic material, such as bone or enamel breastplate, chitine or carapace half-plate, wood or ivory shield, drake or wyvern scale armor etc depending what the DM allows.
If you’re looking for non-metal sources that could be turned into armor. I’d suggest almost any creature with an exoskeleton could be turned into a breastplate. Like a giant ant, or giant crayfish. And anything with scales could be turned into scale. But since we’re really in the realm of homebrew and creativity, I’d throw in tree bark. If you want to make it difficult, it could be from some specific, rare kind of tree. If you want it easier, it could be any sufficient quantity of bark, and a special Druidic ritual that transforms it into usable armor. Which, considering how druids don’t wear metal, it seems like such a thing would be, maybe not common, but not unheard of. Or, if you’re going that route, maybe rock. Obviously it would be heavy if it were real, but the magic of the ritual makes it so it weighs no more than typical armor of that type. And running around in a suit made of marble just seems really cool, and would look awesome.
Other sources could be bone, or things like beaks and talons, that get sewn together (or we’re back to that ritual).
