Newbie DM here, just getting to grips with everything on the other side of the screen. Just trying to figure out how to switch from one story to the next without creating a new campaign each time
I think you need to clarify your definition of a campaign. What changes when the first story ends? You can swap out characters, players, or even locations and it can still be the same campaign. To me, the campaign is one where the overarching story, the endgame level threats, and the game setting stay the same. That allows you to not have to reinvent the game world each time.
What I meant was once our campaign have finished LMOP for example, how do I update the campaign to the DOISP story, or can I just load up the new book in a different tab?

I’m not sure what you mean by update the camapaign? After you finish LMOP you just keep going with the story, referencing the new source book. DOISP in particular opens explaining how it can follow on from LMOP. Your players are already in Phandalin, so you just tell them what’s happening, get them to Harlin Wester and they can start picking what tasks they want to do.
I was more referring to on DnDBeyond itself. So creating a premade campaign gives me the book for LMOP. How do I change the link of "read Lost Mine...." To "Read Dragons...."? Do do I edit the notes and just simply replace the link?

You can access any adventures or sourcebooks you own by clicking on the sourcebook link at the top of the page and selecting which one you wants. If you want the link directly in your campaign page, then yeah, you can just edit it and paste the link

Where does this link exist? When I go to My Campaigns and choose one of my campaigns, there are no links to specific documents. If I go into Edit Campaign, then I can put whatever text I want into three separate boxes.

just switch. no need to preamble just do it. If you can just finish the current story and start the next.
If you are talking about simply stopping the current thread, just tell the players you stopping the thread jump into session 0
just think of it as the character from one book then being in another.
