Ok, so anybody taken something from Eberron and added it to their home brew world?
I actually stole the warforged and crammed them in (I used UA stats). Ever found any complications putting a race/class from Eberron in your campaign?
any story ideas based around that stuff, maybe even a way to add a race in the middle of a campaign? I’ve actually got a hook around warforged: Some one is killing warforged for their parts to make a cyborg army.
Warforged are actually one of the easier add-ins as they can usually just be re-flavored as magical experiments gone wrong, actual living armors, or just the golem-like creatures that they naturally are.

"The mongoose blew out its candle and was asleep in bed before the room went dark." —Llanowar fable
My world’s lore for them is pretty simple, though. They were created for a forgotten war, but afterwards were put in statis. 20 something years ago, somebody found them and reactivated them, and now they opened up a factory, pumping out more of them, made from the souls of those who don’t want to die (with wiped memories, of course).
I’m actually gonna have the cyborgs in above adventure hook like this: as you enter the room, a strange mix of man and machine stands before you, it says “you will be assimilated, resistance is futile.”
just kidding (or not) but, I mean, the Borg (from Star Trek)!

Sounds more like Dr. Who cybermen.
I know but, they delete or upgrade, not assimilate...
