First of all, how are you? Like, really? DMing is pretty taxing in its own way and yet a bit more satisfying when things go our way. Hoping the community can give some insight on how I can help my homebrew group provide feedback on their experiences.
We started on the session zero with a Google Survey, seeing where everyone is at as far as availability, interests, and knowledge on the 5e mechanic. Now fast forward a few sessions and some changes where made, I'm stumped on what types of questions or info I'm requesting from my group?
What kind of questions did you DM's ask your group that you found helpful and insightful to get the PC's more invest?
I would think this would be a good semi-anonymous way for someone to share if:
They're not mentally available for this (maybe they're okay with just be a support character at this time, not all narratives have the same pace, right?)
Scheduling preferences have changed (as with life)
They feel a litttle lost as to why they're here, (not invested in the story or not expecting the character arc to go in the way it is)
Thank you in advance! Hope you find inspiration in these efforts~!
