Hey, I used to use DND Beyond a long time ago, and reading a character sheet that was sent to you through it used to be easier. Now, I can't find the character's alignment on any of my players sheets. I can't find the notes or description tab, either. I understand that when DMing a campaign through DND Beyond you can access this normally, but the campaign is being set up in Roll20 because it has more of what we need for the campaign available. Where's the alignment when someone sends you a character sheet using a link?
TLDR: I can't find alignments on character sheets sent to me outside of a DND Beyond Campaign, where are they?
Unfortunately the alignment is only displayed on the Background tab, which seemingly isn't visible for other people's characters unless you're the DM on the campaign they're in.
I have only played in a single session (one-shot) on Roll 20 and never ran a game through it, so I am not sure how their system works.
As Wagnarokkr mentioned this is displayed in the Backgrounds section of the Character Sheet and is not visible to players. If you are the DM and all of the characters are added to your Campaign within D&D Beyond, you will have access to all of the characters info including Alignment and the ability to adjust anything on their character (including giving them items in their inventory that you are handing out).
Even if you are playing via Roll 20's VTT, it is still a good idea to create a Campaign through D&D Beyond so you have access to the character info you need.
Cheers!

Breathe, dragons; sing of the First World, forged out of chaos and painted with beauty. Sing of Bahamut, the Platinum, molding the shape of the mountains and rivers; Sing too of Chromatic Tiamat, painting all over the infinite canvas. Partnered, they woke in the darkness; partnered, they labored in acts of creation.

Oh that's unfortunate. Thank you so much!
