this may be the wrong place for this. But.... I have a game of 5 x lvl 1 characters in a few days, two of the players have not played in a very long time and never 5e.
What do you all recommend as a good one off intro adventure of about 3-4hr mark??
I would suggest using the first chapter in the Lost Mines adventure. It's a good introduction to the game, and it's pretty much a complete adventure. I started my players with it, and most of them had never played ever. Ending it in the goblin hideout might be too short, so I'd extend it to Cragmaw Castle. The cool thing about LMoP is that there are several individual adventures you can piece together however you like to make a cohesive storyline. You just have to come up with a hook that will lead the party from the hideout to the castle.

Yes, LMoP is probably the best bet. Good luck!
