in encounter builder, when a monster's hp reaches zero, the monster still gets a turn and can do whatever. nothing changes when they reach zero. I'm new to this and idk if that's a bug or if im doing something wrong
You'll probably have to manually track exp (part of why I prefer milestones instead). I've recently dabbled with the builder as well, and I think it really is mostly a balancing tool so you hopefully don't accidentally murder your party.

I don't think D&D Beyond is fully automated. Just remove them from the encounter when they die.
okay. does it give them the xp and stuff after all are deleted or do I have to do that? thanks for helping
