I'm a DM who hasn't run a game since 2nd edition AD&D many years ago. We had a session zero for character creation tonight to start D&D 5e, and I'm hoping for some advice on setting a course for our campaign.
A little background. We will have 5 players, 2 of whom played AD&D 2nd years ago. The rest are new players. For party composition, we have the following Level 1 characters:
Wood Elf Monk
Forest Gnome Cleric
Hill Dwarf Druid
Half-Orc Barbarian
Half-Elf Ranger
So obviously, we're not going to be big on diplomatic storylines.
Are there any current campaign books that are primarily set in the Wilderness, that would give me some initial direction as a DM?
I'm working on some side quests of my own, but not sure where to go with my bigger campaign arc yet.
Thanks in advance for your advice.

Moved to new DMs Only board
Well some good ways to create a good storyarc are to base it on one of the characters backgrounds. I have a player that plays a teifling and doesnt know who his father which is a demon. Im currently having them do a bunch of seemingly unrelated side quests that they will eventually realize were all ploys to destabalize the country. This destabalization is the work of this characters demon father who has a base centered in an undead swamp land that the country borders. So while the players dont realize it the big plot will be them trying to prevent this demon from taking over and destroying the country they are in woth the big reveal being the whole "I am your father" scene.

Very wilderness campaign are Prince of Apocalypse and Stom King's Thunder. The last is shorter, the maximum level is 11. And it is great.
