quick question, i have a player who is going to be playing a path of the beast barbarian thats going to subclass into circle of the moon druid, now the question is, does the class traits for AC stack while he is wildshaped? im almost positive they dont stack but i cant remember where i found said information
barbarian
Level 1: Unarmored Defense
While you aren’t wearing any armor, your base Armor Class equals 10 plus your Dexterity and Constitution modifiers. You can use a Shield and still gain this benefit.
Moon Druid
Level 3: Circle Forms
You can channel lunar magic when you assume a Wild Shape form, granting you the benefits below.
Challenge Rating. The maximum Challenge Rating for the form equals your Druid level divided by 3 (round down).
Armor Class. Until you leave the form, your AC equals 13 plus your Wisdom modifier if that total is higher than the Beast’s AC.
Temporary Hit Points. You gain a number of Temporary Hit Points equal to three times your Druid level.
Base AC calculations never stack -- just use the best. See Armor Class. You would be able to use the barbarian calculation if it's better than the beast calculation, but given you use the beast's stats, I suspect this will never actually come up.
I dunno, it sounds like an interesting RP approach, but both Barbarian and Moon Druid are classes that benefit from having their full class levels and suffer from losing them. I'd be interested to see the player in action, but I foresee a long path ahead of them from an optimization standpoint.
In fact, I'm reading over the rules for these classes, and are you sure your player wants to do this? Assuming they're using the 2014 Path of the Beast, none of the beast form attacks will synergize at all with Moon Druid. Are you planning to homebrew some compatibility? Apologies if there's some UA 2024 version I've forgotten about that solves this, btw.
Both are alternate calculations for and AC cannot stack with each other.

He doesn't have much besides the skin on his bones. Me: I'll take the skin on his bones, then.
"You see a gigantic, monstrous praying mantis burst from out of the ground. It sprays a stream of acid from it's mouth at one soldier, dissolving him instantly, then it turns and chomps another soldier in half with it's- "
"When are we gonna take a snack break?"
