I am planning on building a large scale fort where my Pc’s start on the 5th floor at the bottom and go to the top. The people in the fort are smuggling monsters, and I have a final boss for the fort. I am having writers block for the middle floors. I want some kind of puzzle to bridge the gap between floor 4 and floor 3. Any ideas would be welcome please. Thank you!

Read Dragon Ball books 5 and 6. Muscle tower. Make it so no one knows what’s on those floors, place a trapdoor in the boss room, and drop a mid boss monster inside.
Roomba Knight, Architect of the Cataclysm, Foxy Lunar Archpriest. Dubbed The Fluffy Bowman by Golden. He/Him

I love K-pop Demon Hunters and Korean Mythology. If you want to ask me about something, send me a PM!
What is going on on floors 3 and 4? That can help explain what kind of trap there is.
For example, if it’s just a couple floors where the smugglers live, there probably wouldn’t be a trap, since then the smugglers would need to deal with disarming it every time they went past it. So what is on floor 3 that the smugglers don’t want to get to floor 4, or vice versa? And if the thing is on floor 3, and they don’t want it to go to 4, then it seems like they’d also want to stop it going to floor 2.
