Here's the thing that gets me about this. For an online DM they've probably already got an initiative tracker included in their VTT/Map system of choice. Owlbear, Foundry, Alchemy, Shard, FG, Roll20, or D&D Beyond Encounters, all have initiative tracking. So the tool is pretty pointless.
Similarly for in person, I write initiative on a notepad in front of me.
It's a great demo of what this person is capable of creating with their skills. In terms of being a practical or usable tool that would become part of anyone's workflow? It kinda seems pointless if I'm being brutally honest.

Actually, I find Improved Initiative, my tool of choice, to be very easy to use, and speeds things along much faster. Notepad and hp for me doesn't agree. Whiteboards don't fare that well either. Improved Initiative works for me because it doesn't have all kinds of fancy menus and extra features, but because everything is easy to access in at most two clicks, and that's for making a custom monster. I'm sure it works out quite well for those who enjoy extra features, but I find that a simple program that can track hp and the turn order is all I need.
