Barovia lore keepers, I have an inquiry

I'm close to finishing Curse of Strahd with two groups, but I'd like to return to the Domain of Dread for an expanded adventure that includes many of the locations that appear in the novels and previous editions. I'm planning to use this beautiful map made by sean-the-seap from Reddit, but because finding the novels and old adventures is nigh impossible in my country, I wanted to ask those who are more familiar with the old lore for ideas that fit those locations. I don't necessarily need quest ideas, but more little nuggets of lore and events that you know about that could inspire me to create a few additional quests for the 5e adventure.

I might recommend moving this to the story and lore forum, where the people are likely a bit more familiar with Ravenloft lore than I am. Not my genre, unfortunately.

That said, this is a good forum for running your adventure, puzzle, trap, and encounter ideas through other experienced people, so if you need more technical or story help, this is a good place.
