Player dies becasue of stupidity but creates a perfect character as a consequence

So in my current campaign my party attended a masquerade to figure out who the BBEG is.

Well one of my players decided to try to question one of the suspects more deeply. His plan was to knock out the suspect and question him after tying him up. The other players advised him not to do that. As soon as he was alone with his suspect he decided to attack - too bad, that this suspect was in fact the BBEG and managed to down and kill the PC.

This obviously pissed off the other players which caused a bit of a debate.192.168.1.254

Anyways while the other players kept playing, the player started to think of a new character and honestly cooked; a while back his now dead PC started a romance with an NPC, who originally was a tavern maid but eventually moved into the bastion of the party.

His plan now is for her to create a pact with a demon to become a warlock to get her revenge and possibly get her lover back. He really wants to embrace the struggle between good and evil, playing a Chaotic Good Warlock of the Undead.

Im really hyped to see his new character and the reaction from the others. Just had to share this little story
