I'm running a game for my coworkers, and I need to find a decent one shot adventure. I've run the first part of LMoP for almost all of these players so I think that's kind of out. I was hoping to a dungeon or just find something short. Originally I had thought of using something from Rolled and Told, but I'm noticing the games they have are unbalanced for beginners (some people are new). I have access to most of the stuff offered from the Humble Bundle D&D bundles, I think I only missed one of those. Also I'm willing to buy a new game from indy developers, I like supporting good writing!
So in short I need a game that works for
One night
Beginners
Possibly a larger group (work games tend to get huge and I'm the only DM in these parts)
Go with Matt Colville's five encounter one-shot adventure. It's got a little of everything so players can see what elements of the game they like best.
DMs Guild is always an excellent resource for everything from short one shots to giant sorcebooks, and you get to help support a huge variety of creators! You can search for one shots, see reviews, and get a lot of great content.
Also I love using the Encounter of the Week that James Haeck has been putting out as short one shots, or pairing two up for a nice evening!
One of the first pre-written one-shots I ran for my party was The Wild Sheep Chaseby Winghorn Press & Richard Jansen-Parkes. It's completely free and laid out in a very easy to digest way in less than 10 pages. Best of luck!

I haven't tried any of the encounter of the week adventures, I'll thumb through the archive thanks for the tip!
