On several occasions I played with some DMs that use a song to wrap up a session and feel that is a very awesome way to end the day.
So I was looking for some feedback and recommendations, do you guys like it or use it at your table? Which songs do you use it to start and wrap up a session.
I usually try and have some music or at least some background noises playing throughout entire sessions. A lot of which can be found on youtube and spotify. you just have to make sure that what you are playing matches what is currently happening with the PC's as to avoid braking players immersion with the game. it can be a lot more work to source them and then know which to play at particular moments within your session but I find as long as you plan ahead it can be really effective to help create the fantasy world around the PC's.
That sounds amazing! Especially as I would think it'd be super hard to have a song on hand to match the tone of the game...as a DM I often don't know where my game is going to go!
I try to have a post game "cool down" with my players after each session, even if it's just a minute or two of checking in how everyone is doing. It would be nice to have some calm music playing to ease out of an intense session.

The "cool down" period is also a great time to schedule the next session.
