I've got a question about the feats that I can buy from a basic rules textbook. And to be more specific: If I, as a DM, buy them, do my players can use them in our campaign? I know I've read something about shearable content, but I'm not sure if it is available if I'm a free user.
To sum it up: me (DM) and my players are looking for some additional feats. I offered that I could buy a bundle, but I read that even if you buy them, your players can't use it until you're subscribed to Dndbeyond. Is it true? Or if i, as a DM buy them, can my players add it to their characters as well?
If they have that, they can enable "content sharing" with up to 3 campaigns, with - I believe - a 12 Player limit.
Anyone who is attached to the campaign can be part of the shared content pool - so the DM doesn't have to have purchased all the material to make it accessible to everyone in the campaign; one of the Players can contribute.
Generally speaking - and my opinion only - it's far better value to buy the book that contains the content you want. It's much more expensive "cherry picking" content, if you cherry pick enough of it - although I can't deny it may be cheaper if you will never buy the rest of the book.

Please note: The DM does not have to be the one with the master subscription as long as SOMEONE in the campaign has it to enable content sharing. Similarly, onve content sharing is enabled, it does not matter who purchased what content, all content will be shared with everyone.
For example, I bought all the books, but my friend has the master subscription, and we are both DMs of 2 different campaigns. He has enabled content sharing in both, and my content is shared to him and the other players in both.
I agree with Vexadent about it being cheaper (especially with a 25% off coupon) to buy the whole PHB and XGtE rather than just the player options from those books.

Thanks for the every possible answers!
To share content the DM needs to have a master tier subscription to the site. See here: https://dndbeyond.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115011257067-Campaign-Content-Sharing-and-You

Didn't know that - good call out.
