I'm adoring DDB's implementations of adventures and source books. After a few months of hard copy Strahd and then laying out a monster manual on top of it and shifting notes around, I'm really stoked for being able to have a more convenient alternative to books. Especially as a DM who doesn't have the space to DM from home.
However, I'm still organizing most of my notes in Evernote. I would love to convert some old Planescape adventures over for 5e in the same way that DDB handles it, but I think I'd have to settle on Evernote.
I was wondering if there's a way to create custom adventures in DDB. If not, maybe I could get some input on how everyone here organizes their homebrew campaigns.
For my campaigns, I use a combination of Google docs and google drive. In google docs, I create separate documents for each area the players are likely to visit and try to organise them in a similar format to official adventure books. The great part about this system is linking between sections. You add links to other parts of the same document or to specific parts of other documents.
As for google drive, that's where I'll store maps and images intended to be handed out. If you need to, you can import theses images into google docs directly.
I'd recommend having 1 place for links to all of your resources, including links to stuff on this site, character sheets, monsters etc.
I began organizing my HB Campaign on Evernote -- then found DDB.
We use DDB for Character sheets, this makes the process seamless as I'm not HB'ing any backgrounds/feats.
For my own organization -- I've switched from Evernote to Notion.so
Holy Cow! It took some getting used to, but I can add attributes to everything and have a huge Kanban chart that tracks progress through certain campaigns, links to shops and resources, and even DDB Character sheets all embedded into notion.
I also love that I can share certain sheets with players in the campaign so that they can 'visit the shop' at any time.

An entire thread for you to sift through :)

Do you have your Notion.so template I am working on putting one together but would love a starting point
I know it's really old, but Lazy GM has a notion template that is simply amazing.... if you google it, it should be one of the first ones to populate.
notion is great, I found this template that has a lot of features: https://minvarpg.com/products/lorekeeper-5e-notion-template
