That’s actually a really cool way to come up with names, feels more natural than using random generators. I like the idea of tweaking real names so they still sound believable in a fantasy setting. Keeping a list of names you come across is also a smart habit. Sometimes I do something similar and even check ideas like vampire names when I need a bit of dark or unique inspiration.
Fiction primarily, real life, or generator
