You can get a super sweet wax sealing kit on amazon for like $20 if you want. Maybe a bit much for a prop you use once in D&D, but you can use in lots of situations. Cash wedding present? Wax seal the envelope. Steam game for a birthday present? Grab a code of Humble Bundle, print it out on nice paper, seal it in wax.
Another fun thing to do: If you have a soldering iron and can get ahold of some driftwood (or really any non-boring wood) you can freehand write stuff. Druidic messages, pirate treasure map, a message posted in a tavern.
Laminators can be had for $20ish too. If you have house rules or references for important NPCs or factions or want to hand out quick reference cards, print em out and laminate them and they'll last forever. Even just getting some cardstock or specialty paper to print stuff out on can really level up your handout game for very little cost/effort.

Greetings my fellow Dungeon Masters,
I have been DM'ing for my group for 2.5 years and have been having a ton of fun but I want to up the game a bit.
We use this fantastic website for our campaign. But have been curious what others do for handouts.
I use J.R.R. Tolkien's languages for my group as I wasn't sure what else to use for our games. I have found this site to help write in these runes. http://derhobbit-film.de/rune_generator.shtml#rune
The Great Matt Mercer gave me a few ideas from watching but was curious as to what the rest of you great masters out there use.
