Hi all. New here and wanted to get some thoughts on a magic item I created for my party. They're all 5th level. This is a belt that belonged to a long dead Grandmaster of a Monastery.

The Rope Belt of The Grandmaster

• This will be a simple belt of strength +1 until the wearer attuned to it reaches 8th level.
• At 8th level, it upgrades to +2.
• At 11th level it grants a bonus of ½ the wearers proficiency bonus (rounded down) to any strength check (including skills). This is in addition to normal strength bonus.
• At 15th level it upgrades to +3.
• At 18th level it grants a full proficiency bonus to any strength check (including skills). This is in addition to normal strength bonus.
• Note: The belt’s +X bonuses will allow a player to have a strength over 20.

To powerful? Balanced? Any feedback would be great. I have s similar item for AC/Dex in The Bracers of The Grandmaster.
