So I am running this for my wife a D&D noob solo. It says you level as a milestone every 2 missions. My question are do the side missions count the ones that are not from the quest board? I was reading ahead to the next mission after Dragons of Icespire and it said they should start at 7. I did the math and with only getting lvls from first 2 board and then every 2 missions (Quest board) and 1 for killing Dragon that I would only be at 6 missions. Or am I wrong...let me know what you all think.
Levels 1 - 3: There are 3 starting quests, and you gain a level on the first 2 you complete. The last will not give a level.
Levels 4 - 6: There are 6 follow-up quests, and you gain a level for every 2 you complete.
Level 7: Slaying the dragon.
You are right I was thinking the second set of 6 is similar to the first set and they get taken off the board after you complete 2 of the 3. Which would not give enough quests.

I’d have to say yes to that. Side quests count toward levels at the same rate as the job board.
