one thing I do: I have a set of table rules (or ground rules) that must be adhered to. If a player wishes to violate those rules, they must leave the table until they are done. For example, no answering, watching or listening to phone or internet at the table. If they need, take it to another room, so the rest can continue the game without interruption. If he doesn't want to hear the story out, he can leave the table for a time so the rest of the players can enjoy their game.
As for dice rolls. Every player has the right to demand other player dice rolls be made in public view (including GM rolls). I trust my players, but sometimes there are rolls that everyone wants to see (especially situational critical rolls).
