Looking for a module for my in-person D&D homebrew group. There's 8 players. Yea, I know, I know... But dam, it has been fun this past year!
I've checked DMSGuild. No joy. I have nearly a thousand modules, published and self created, since AD&D v1 days, but nothing close enough to adapt the plot too. Looking for something quick. Not sure I have time to write something detailed and creative. Which I prefer...
Plot: One of the characters (group in tow) is returning home. He had to flee just over three years prior when he discovered his family home burned down, his mothers corpse within, and his two sisters missing. The law though he had something to do with it, so he panicked and fled. He was only 16 at the time. Now, three years later his group will be visiting the city of his birth, and he will be seeking knowledge of his missing sisters. He will find his older sister who fills him in on what's happened over the past three years. Namely, that his younger sister is being forced to work as a whore for a local gang. The gang is quite large, but not exactly powerful. More like a collective of gutter rats, fences, pickpockets, etc. who have a charismatic leader holding them together. Lots of businesses paying for "protection" as well. I expect the player, and group, to rescue the sister, then track down the leader of the gang and perform some frontier justice on him.
Any modules in a city, city docks preferably, dealing with a gang that could be easily adapted to this plot? Thanks!

Guess you learn a new trick every now and then. I didn't know about that site, but then again I don't ascribe to Colville's opinions, videos, worship, etc. GASP!!!

honestly the first module that comes to my mind that might be perfect for this would be waterdeep dragon heist, its in waterdeep, dock town and deals with the xanathar gang, another gang made up of drow, but also easily able to insert your own gang into, im currently running this as well for my group with xanathar as the main big bad BUT through one of my players backstories another minor big bad is there abusive father sp waterdeep dragon heist might be up your ally

Try Matt Colville's database, Adventure Lookup: https://adventurelookup.com/adventures
WOTC lies. We know that WOTC lies. WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. We know that WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. And still they lie.
Because of the above (a paraphrase from Orwell) I no longer post to the forums -- PM me if you need help or anything.
