Hello, are there any recommendations for published campaigns which encourage little or no violence but lean more towards the other skills? Many thanks!
By reputation, Waterdeep encourages more social encounters and RP than most of the other published adventures. But I haven't played it myself.
WOTC lies. We know that WOTC lies. WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. We know that WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. And still they lie.
Because of the above (a paraphrase from Orwell) I no longer post to the forums -- PM me if you need help or anything.
Dragon Heist probably encourages the most role play of any module I have used, but there are still plenty of fights.
I'm going to propose Curse of Strahd.
There are a lot of violent situations in the campaign, but I think it's possible to swing them with RP. Not all, but many.
"Sooner or later, your Players are going to smash your railroad into a sandbox."
-Vedexent
"real life is a super high CR."
-OboeLauren
"............anybody got any potatoes? We could drop a potato in each hole an' see which ones get viciously mauled by horrible monsters?"
-Ilyara Thundertale
Many thanks for your help, all. Much appreciated.
