I know this has been asked several times before, but I don't quite find a good solution for me.
I'm a newbie DM with newbie players. We are almost done with LMoP and I asked my players if they want to start a fresh adventure with new characters or continue once we finish it. They want to continue, so I was looking for some advice on where to go next.
Based on what I've read, I will probably go for Storm King's Thunder, since other adventures are more suitable for more experienced players/DM. I was also thinking about running some Adventurers League modules (or at least use them for when people is missing for a session).
SKT is good. Don't scare yourself into thinking you can't run a "more difficult" campaign, just because you are new. There are also 3rd party campaigns out there that are much cheaper than SKT, depending whether you want to dive into another LMoP or whether you want to charge pell-mell into a save-the-world grand epoch, SKT is a decently large commitment.
Check out DMs guild (dot) com, frog god games (dot) com, and kobold press (dot) com... or grab the 5e humble bundle on sale now and support charity
you should also talk to your players about what kind of game they would like to play. some players enjoys a longer campaign like SKT that have an overarching story that the players contribute to, and others are only interested in the "meat" of the game and would prefer a dungeon crawl from start to finish. the latter kind of player might enjoy something like the Tales from the Yawning Portal(TftYP), where each adventure basically drops you in or right before heading into a dungeon or crypt or whatever.

Lord of the Dead, Judge of the Damned, Master of the Crystal Spire, the Great Guide.
Curse of Strahd is also a solid choice, if your players want a more horror-oriented theme.

Any tips and suggestions? Thanks in advance!
SKT's probably best if you want to use a prebuilt adventure (and your party survived LMoP).
