Riftborn Traits
Your manifestation from beyond the rift has left you and other Riftborn with these traits
Ability Score Increase. Both your Intelligence and Charisma increase by 1
Age. Not much is known about how new Riftborn come into being or even if they reproduce in any way. It has been observed that they can live for hundreds of years but they do not show any signs of age. Even the scribed wrappings that holds the magical energy that forms their bodies seems to remain unchanged over the centuries
Alignment. Being made of the chaotic forces that created the rift’s magical storms has skewed the attitudes of the Riftborn almost exclusively towards chaotic and thou they do stay neutral in most matters there have been cases of both heroic and diabolical individuals
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet
Size. Riftborn choose to take either a masculine or feminine humanoid form of between 5 to 6 feet tall
Darkvision. Thanks to your magical body you have superior vision in dark and dim condition. you can see in dim tight within 60 feet of you as if it were bright tight. and in darkness as if it were dim light. You ean't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Lacking Flesh. You don’t have a fully physical body thou you are still a humanoid. You are immune to disease. You do not need to breathe, eat or drink, nor do you have a mouth to do so.
Trance: Elves don’t need to sleep. Instead, they meditate deeply, remaining semiconscious, for 4 hours a day. (The Common word for such meditation is “trance.”) While meditating, you can dream after a fashion; such dreams are actually mental exercises that have become reflexive through years of practice. After Resting in this way, you gain the same benefit that a humanoid does from 8 hours of sleep.
Innate Spellcasting. With this trait you know the Prestidigitation cantrip and can cast Detect Magic. At 3rd level you can cast Silence with this trait and at 5th level you can cast Gaseous Form but only on yourself. Spells cast using this trait do not use Components and once a non cantrip spell is cast using this trait you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest. Either Intelligence or Charisma can be your spellcasting ability for spells cast using this trait.
Magic Resistance. You have advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Born of the Rift. Riftborn are each made of magical energy and depending on that energy their bodies emit different colors and it can even make them resistance to different types of damage. Choose a color and gain the corresponding resistance

Entity of Magic. As an entity of magic you are adversely affected Antimagic fields. You cannot simply walk in or out of an antimagic field and if while inside of one you must make a DC 10 Wisdom saving throw every hour and on a failure you are temporarily dispelled you disappear leaving behind a neat pile of wrappings along with the bracers and anklets that help Riftborn take form. The pile is considered a mundane item and weighs 40lb. Anyone can pick up this pile of wrappings and you reappear at a location within 10ft of those wrappings the moment they are no longer affected by an antimagic field.
So thoughts? I wanted to give the right feel here while keeping things balanced so I lowered the stat increases and created the Entity of Magic ability that gives the DM something fun and thematic to play with while giving the player a situational weakness
