Some of the bosses might be fun, like a Hinox or Talus, but I imagine there are similar enough things to pull from in the monster manual where you could easily just reskin something to represent them.
For a Lynel you could take a centaur, buff it to be more formidable depending on the level of your players, and give it a fire breath action etc.

Actually, although a Lynel is physically similar to a centaur, mechanically I'd compare them to a Half-Red Dragon Veteran, which carries multiple weapons, including bows, and has firebreathing abilities. You just have to homebrew it to being Large instead of Medium and describing it as having Lynel's body-type
I could see that, though centaur already has pike, a charge attack feature with said pike, and a bow and arrow, so I feel like it'd also make a good starting point and you can add on the fire breath and a 1h/shield option for weapons if you like etc.
It is indeed the greatest game of all time. Can't wait for the sequel.
For bokoblins I would use something similar to the goblin, but change some of the base stats. They seem to be less dexterity focused and more brute focused than goblins.

I made s few of the blights once. They were fun boss battles.

Imagine someone with ptsd after fighting thunderb**** in BOTW just casually playing D&D and realizing that the party now has to fight thunderb**** lol. Yes I call thunderblight thunderb****.
At some point I'm planing to throw a molduga type sandworm boss, where they'll want to use safe spots on ruins etc and bait it out rather than standing on the open sand where it can eat them.
I recently went to a D&D summer camp, and everyone split into two parties for the same campaign. The other party was probably doing the actual adventure. But a shopkeeper knocked two people in my party out. Two ended up in jail, I pickpocketed people, some guy demolished an altar because he was an atheist. Some dude named Pope Francis was vibing on the dance floor at a harvest festival, and someone went on a gay date and tried to eat the half-elf he went on a date with. And when the final boss came, we were unprepared.

The greatest game in history!!!
I was thinking I could do a homebrew monster based off of Bokoblins or something :)
I feel like a Bokoblin would just have the exact same stats as a Goblin. They're pretty one-to-one in terms of abilities and general attitude.

True. I'm so glad someone else appreciates BotW like I do, though!

Good idea! Anyway, how far are y'all along in the game?

I love botw too!
I've personally beaten the game multiple times, and an currently working on mastering difficult manuvers like shield block reset and wind bomb.

wind bombs are the best...
IKR. I personally think thunderclap rush are cooler. But they're not super useful, mainly for show.
